Biography:
I am excited to say that this will be my 21st year as an Elementary Educator. It all started back in the Fall of 1997, when I graduated from Eastern Illinois University. I received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. That following year, I was trained at National Louis University as a Reading Recovery Teacher and taught Reading Recovery in the morning and Kindergarten in the afternoon at Lakewood Falls Elementary School in Plainfield School District 202. After moving to Chicago, I started teaching in Northbrook. I started in Kindergarten, moved to first grade, and this will be my 15th year teaching 2nd grade at Wescott.
