Author Lowey Bundy Sichol Discusses Entrepreneurship with Fourth and Fifth-Graders

Wescott School Library Media Specialist Margaret Janavicius shared, "Thank you to The Book Stall @thebookstall for organizing our fourth-and fifth-grade author visit with award-winning children's author Lowey Bundy Sichol @LoweySichol on April 13!"

During her virtual visit, Ms. Lowey introduced the students to the concept of entrepreneurship through the stories of how companies like LEGO, Nike, Google, and The Walt Disney Company were created.

Her books include "From an Idea to Lego", "From an Idea to Disney," "From an Idea to Google," "From an Idea to Nike," and her newest book, "Idea Makers: 15 Fearless Female Entrepreneurs."

Lowey is the recipient of multiple awards, including from the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), Children’s Book Council (CBC), International Literacy Association (ILA), and was a Texas Bluebonnet Award Nominee (TBA)
