Board Gets a "Sneak Peek" of Wescott and Willowbrook School Construction
During the August 19 Board of Education meeting, President Nancy Artz welcomed everyone and thanked the administrators, principals, support staff, and maintenance crews for their excellent work on the Elementary Capacity Project at Wescott and Willowbrook Schools.
"After touring Willowbrook and Wescott this evening, we all were excited to see the amazing work being completed at the schools. The construction is on schedule, and buildings are projected to be ready for the first day of school, September 2!" said Ms. Artz.
Superintendent Dr. Brian Wegley expressed his appreciation for the wonderful work and partnership that District 30 continues to uphold with Arcon Associates Inc. and Nicholas & Associates, companies that also designed and built Maple School!

On Monday, August 23, New Teacher Orientation will take place, and the rest of the staff will start setting up their classrooms at all of the schools. The first day of school for staff is August 30. Elementary School Supply Drop-off (four alpha groups) takes place on September 1. Kindergartners begin school on September 3.
