Walk for Wescott Fundraiser Raises over $11,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research and School Projects
Wescott School PTO Co-Presidents Ankur Singal and Norbert Barszczewski report:
"A very big thank you to all who participated and made donations to the annual Walk for Wescott (W4W) fundraiser this year! Special thanks to physical education/wellness teachers Roy Grober, Christina Fee, Joe Burdi, Lynn. Reimer, and Principal Dr. Chris Brown for their help and support! We had outstanding results, raising $11,595 which will go directly to improvements for Wescott, as well as Fear? Not Nation, a foundation that supports pediatric cancer patients.
First-grade led the pack with 57% participation. Third-grade was second with 51%, second-grade had 50%. Class winners for each grade (based on average donation per student):•1st grade -Tuchman •2nd grade - Thomas •3rd grade - Rohn •4th grade - Schutz •5th grade - Nadel.
