Dear District 30 Community,
As I complete my first six months in District 30, please know that I appreciate the openness and trust you have demonstrated since I arrived. Whether you have attended a Board of Education meeting or said hello at a school event, so many have been openhearted in sharing your feelings about District 30. I am grateful.
In turn, I hope you feel my desire to be openhearted and to create a culture of trust in our district. That includes initiatives to better communicate with you like our Conversations with the Community that happened this fall, the publication of our Board Briefs, or simply listening to your questions and concerns when we meet. I adore being a part of this exceptional community and thank you for helping me learn and grow here.
With this said, I also hope you will join me in continuing this openness and honesty in the development of our new Strategic Plan.
