BREAKING NEWS: This year, the Snowflake retreat will be held for all 7th grade students on November 17 at Maple School during regular school hours. The PTO will be providing a light breakfast, pizza lunch, and afternoon snack. Students will learn more about this program in their advisories at the beginning of November.
Operation Snowflake seeks to bring together middle school youth, community professionals, and other caring adults to develop a trusting relationship and provide a framework of understanding one's self and others. The program also strives to teach youth valuable skills that develop healthy peer relationships, promote responsible decision-making, and resist negative peer pressure.
Snowflake is a 7th grade program designed to help healthy kids STAY healthy.

On Friday, December 6, Maple's 7th graders spent the day interacting with high school mentors and experts discussing topics related to substance abuse awareness and prevention. The day featured presentations from Imagination Theater, Providence Farm, and Tony Hoffman.
