Learning By Design Magazine has just awarded Maple School with a grand prize for educational facility design, focusing on the design of the Maple School library.

"The library is one of the most sculptural and engaging facilities I've seen," said an editor of the magazine.

Other accolades detailed included:

Maple School – “Excellent use of outdoor spaces for different functions. Really nice concepts that are evident in the design The interior spaces are very warm with pleasant colors and detailing. Support in developing a Professional Learning Community is apparent through the inclusion of a teacher planning area and living room for each grade level.”

The Learning By Design Magazine features 67 recently completed educational facility design and construction projects from early childhood, middle school, high school, specialized education, and higher education college and university environments.

All published projects were judged, scored, and granted facility design awards based on six criteria of Innovation; Sustainability; Interior Design; Next Generation Learning; Planning and Functional Design; Community Needs.
