Ms. Lauren Schulman
Director of Student Services
Ms. Schulman has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from National-Louis University, a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an approval in Special Education from National-Louis University, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Administration from National-Louis University.
For the past six years, she has been the program supervisor at Northern Suburban Special Education District (NSSED). She also has over 10 years of teaching and administrator experience in Illinois.
"She displays a genuine passion for best practices with children, and their best interests are always at the center of her decisions," stated Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edward Tivador.
Ms. Schulman said, "During my six years working with District 30, I recognized that it is an outstanding community that always puts children first. I quickly realized that I would like to be a part of this family. My goal, for the department, is to support general education, each other, and families, while meeting the special needs of students. I believe that it is only as an entire team that we will create the best possible outcomes for students."
