Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapist works directly with students and collaborates with educational teams, including general education teachers. The purpose of occupational therapy within a school setting is to help students access the curriculum, make educational gains, and participate fully in daily activities. Supports may include direct therapy with a student or providing accommodations within a classroom. The focus of occupational therapy is often related to fine motor skills, executive functioning strategies, and sensory integration.
