"March Madness" Food Drive Runs From March 8-12

This year, Glenbrook North High School (GBN) is involving middle schools in its annual Food Drive. The theme for the Food Drive is "March Madness." In the spirit of competition, GBN has organized a competition between Maple School, Northbrook Junior High, Wood Oaks, and Field School from March 8-12.

The Glenbrook North Student Association Executive Board will be collecting non-perishable items in the main entrance of Maple School, as well as monetary donations in the Maple Office from 8:05 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

In addition, GBN students will be collecting around town on Sunday, March 7. Students and staff can donate money and goods throughout the day at Sunset Foods (Cherry Ln), Mariano’s (Skokie Blvd), and Jewel Osco (Pfingsten Rd). Items donated will only count in the middle school competition if the donor mentions their school name when donating.

The Northfield Township Food Pantry really needs our help. They are currently supporting over 950 households, up from 650 last year.

Please consider donating to this good cause, and let’s show our Mustang pride. If you have questions, please email Ms. Zhang (zhang@district30.org) or Ms. Reimer (lreimer@district30.org). Have a good day!
