Congratulations to Maple School's Geography Bee Winners!

We are Proud!

Maple School's Annual Geography Bee was held virtually after school on Thursday, January 14. After competing in the final competition and championship round, Ethan Fink (7th-grade) won the competition to become our 2021 Maple School Geography Bee champion.

Ethan's winning question-and-answer was, "The Bab el Mandeb, a strait between the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa, connects the Gulf of Aden to which body of water?"  Answer is "The Red Sea."

Congratulations also go to the 7th-grade runner up Billy Considine and all of the finalists: Barkhas Amarbaysgalan, Alex Chae, Brooke Cohen, Quentin DeGregorio, Shiri Epstein, Elliot Fink, Jordyn Fliegler, Dean Galanis, Emily Mendiola, Jenny Ogiela, Abdullah Shilleh, Brady Spiggos, David Wang, Adrian Wiktorowski, Audrey Wiseman, and Chloe Zhu.
