Digital Resources

Dreambox is a research based math app aligned to CCSS that uses an adaptive learning platform or teacher customized pathways to offer continuous support of conceptual understanding, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Reflex is a game based app to support students in mathematical fact fluency.

These digital tools are great resources to enhance and support our math curriculum.  As you utilize these tools at home, encourage your child to keep trying (persevering) even when the activities are challenging.  Most importantly, encourage your child to do his/her best and have fun.   It is very important that students interact with the digital tools, activities, and games independently and do not receive any assistance, hints, or answers while using it at school or at home.  

Please remember that these digital resources are also classroom tools and are used during the day at school.   It is important that students do not spend an excessive amount of time on any one app.  Overutilization of any app can result in declined interest.  If you have questions about recommended use of digital math resources for your individual child please feel free to ask your child's teacher.
