Dear District 30 Family,
As we look forward to next year, we anticipate mitigation strategies to continue with a return to more normal operations with Willowbrook PreK-5, Wescott K-5, and Maple 6-8. We are planning for daily in-person programming for all students. In addition, the Illinois State Board of Education currently expects a remote option for “families of students who are at increased risk of severe illness” with the support of a doctor’s note.
Starting April 26 at 9 a.m., student registration for the 2021-22 school year will open. The first registration form, Student Learning Status for the 2021-22 School Year, must be completed for each student by May 7, 2021. Letters were mailed to families in a white envelope marked REGISTRATION INFORMATION ENCLOSED on April 20. This letter contains everything needed to complete the online student registration.
Please note the following dates:
April 26 through May 7, 2021: Please begin or complete online student registration through PowerSchool’s Parent Portal to assist with planning for next year. The first registration form, Student Learning Status for the 2021-22 School Year, must be completed for each student by May 7, 2021.
Through May 31, 2021: The district will offer discounted online student registration through PowerSchool’s Parent Portal if registration is completed by May 31.
August 1, 2021: Families must register by the deadline of August 1 to receive classroom teacher assignments for Wescott and Willowbrook students and advisory/locker assignments for Maple students. The student registration process, including payment, must be completed for classroom teacher assignments and advisory/locker assignments to be generated.
August 9, 2021: ePackets containing vital student information (e.g., supply list, important dates, PTO, and lunch) will be available on the district website and through PowerSchool’s Parent Portal.
August 26, 2021: Classroom teacher assignments for Wescott and Willowbrook students and advisory/locker assignments for Maple students will be posted to PowerSchool’s Parent Portal.
