e-Learning Begins Tuesday, March 17

After Northfield Township decided to close schools for educational purposes, the Governor of Illinois issued an executive order doing the same across the entire state. We are fortunate to live in a community that has the tools to continue learning remotely and to have educational professionals who are working diligently to leverage them for our students. We are entering uncharted waters, and I ask that we all have grace as we take risks and learn together during these uncertain times.

As Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 begins our e-Learning program on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The following letters were sent out to parents in preparation:

District 30 will also continue to update a Parent School Closure & e-Learning FAQ for your reference.

This is a very unusual time for our world, and we genuinely appreciate your support, flexibility, and understanding. I also want to convey how thankful I am for the hard work of our staff and the incredible care we are receiving from our community. Again, this is our first time implementing e-Learning, and we ask for your patience as we navigate this new learning model. We are all in this together, and let’s keep learning and handling this situation as well as we can as it evolves and eventually passes.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brian K. Wegley
