Welcome to Willowbrook School, where “Character Counts!” each and every day.  Our school serves over 380 students in preschool through 5th grade.  We are located 25 miles northwest of the Chicago loop.  Our students live in both Glenview and Northbrook, although our school building is located in Glenview. Willowbrook’s theme for the 2016-17 school year is “Be Willowbrook”.
Willowbrook is an exciting place for children!  We exist to create a community that craves learning, fosters resiliency, and cares deeply for every child.  Willowbrook students read, write, sing, act, dance, paint, do math and science, learn about other cultures, use technology, practice physical fitness, and learn to make decisions that foster healthy lifestyles.  Enrichment opportunities and accelerated instruction are offered to eligible children and an array of special education services are available.  Our library houses over 12,000 volumes of books with checkout privileges for all.  Thanks to our terrific PTO, our gym has a great horizontal climbing wall, our art room has two beautiful computers that can be used for claymation projects, and our school has a thriving Music Garden. The building is networked for wireless Internet access and for communication among the staff.  We have 1:1 iPads at grades 3-5 and 1:2 iPads at Kindergarten - grade 2.
Willowbrook School is home to District 30's Kindergarten Center, servicing 125 students from both the Willowbrook and Wescott attendance areas.  Our community preschool program is jointly operated by Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 and the North Suburban Special Education District (NSSED).  In addition, we host a NSSED Supportive Learning Environment classroom for students in grades K-2 and a NSSED Educational Life Skill classroom for students in grades 3-5.
Feel free to contact our classroom teachers via email or checkout their individual websites.  We look forward to collaborating with you this school year.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.  My door is always open to you.
