Governor Pritzker Extends Illinois' Stay-at-Home Order and School Building Closure until April 30

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian K. Wegley

Dear District 30 Family,

I hope that this email finds you all doing well! Today, Governor Pritzker extended Illinois’s Stay-At-Home order and school building closure through April 30. We will continue our e-Learning effort in support of the actions being taken by our community, state, and nation to respond to the COVID-19 situation. I am grateful for the efforts of our students, staff, and parents as we continue to settle into this new, temporary normal.

As unbelievable as this time may be, Governor Pritzker’s announcement today also included a reminder for all of us to stop for a moment and see the fundamental goodness being demonstrated all around us. Our community exemplifies his reflection. Thank you all for your continued support and for your grace and flexibility at this time. Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families, and let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brian K. Wegley
