Physical Education

In Physical Education classes students will learn a variety of team, partner, and individual sports and activities. There will be an emphasis on fitness and fitness activities that will include but not be limited to workouts in the Fitness Center, timed runs, stretching programs and Fitness Gram fitness testing. Students will participate in large and small group settings and will choose from the following units: basketball, badminton, volleyball, bowling, handball, pickleball, leisure games, creative dance, soccer, football, track and field, and disc golf and more. We believe in giving students maximum participation and activity time, allowing for individual differences by varying lessons, providing daily opportunities for the development of movement skills and physical fitness, teaching students how to apply proper exercise in their daily lives, and accommodating the needs and developmental levels of all students.
