Please consider volunteering to serve Hot Lunch at Maple School. Sodexo provides District 30’s hot lunch service. All food is prepared at Maple and transported to the elementary schools on a daily basis.
- Volunteers are needed to set up the lunch line, serve the students, and do some minimal clean up.
- Volunteer slots are once a month for the entire 2017/2018 school year from approximately 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.. depending on the school.
- Depending on the school calendar, the serving slot may have anywhere from one to ten serving days during the year. Many options are available to accommodate busy schedules and unofficial “job sharing” can be arranged.
- Parents unable to commit to a reoccurring monthly slot have the option to join the sub list. Volunteers request subs on a regular basis and parents on the sub list serve at their convenience.
An email was sent out on Thursday, August 10th to all of those who have registered with the district.
