Join the 2020 Census Team!
Once a decade, America comes together to count every resident in the United States. The census counts our population and households, providing the basis for reapportioning congressional seats, redistricting, and distributing more than $675 billion in federal funds annually to support states, counties and communities’ vital programs — impacting housing, education, transportation, employment, health care and public policy.
Federal funds, grants and support to states, counties and communities are based on population totals and breakdowns by sex, age, race and other factors. Glenview benefits the most when the census counts everyone.
Getting a complete and accurate count in 2020 requires everyone's help. Individuals, businesses, community organizations, schools and others have a role to play.

-SchoolsThe U.S. Census Bureau is looking to hire approximately 500,000 temporary workers to help conduct the 2020 Census.
Census takers will be hired to work in their communities and go door-to-door to collect responses from those who do not respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone or by mail. These positions offer competitive pay, flexible hours, paid training and weekly paychecks. Recent high school graduates, veterans, retirees, military spouses, seasonal workers and applicants who are bilingual are highly encouraged to apply.
